Embracing Impermanence: A Celebration
The meal was served on handcrafted slab plates with a black iron oxide glaze, accompanied by hand-dyed, unhemmed silk napkins. These elements contributed to an atmosphere of warmth and authenticity, encouraging guests to be present and engaged.
Finding Beauty in Imperfection
In her novel "Chicken with Plums," Marjane Satrapi beautifully captures the idea that true love stories often arise from the depths of our struggles. Sometimes, it's these imperfect life stories that leave a lasting impact. We often overlook these everyday experiences, but they shape us in profound ways. Our hearts have known suffering, and yet we continue to persevere and thrive.
Here's to embracing impermanence, finding joy in the present moment, and trans-forming life's storms into beautiful and extra-ordinary moments. Let's continue to play our best, no matter the odds.
Once more, and then again.
And again.
The amount of happiness that you have depends on the amount of freedom you have in your heart.

We drew inspiration from the delightful flavours of Ottolenghi, as well as the warm and cozy atmosphere of those memorable, lingering rendezvous that stretch long into the night.
